Here is a reminder of some guide lines to consider before turning your quilts over to be quilted.
1) Make sure all the seams are sewn together.
2) We also like you to put borders on all the quilts ...this makes it easier to trim up after quilting.
3) Allow extra backing fabric of at least 3 (three) inches on each side that means the backing is a total of 6 inches wider and longer than the quilt .........this is so it can be attached to the quilting machine and most important.
4) And if you need to enlarge your backing by just a few inches please don't just add it to one side of the backing ....if the extra is a narrow strip (less than 6 inches )put it in the middle of the backing.
5) Press both the top (the quilt) and the backing
